using 4/6 build of netscape 1) launch netscape 2) launch composer 3) enter some text 4) highlight half(partial) text 5) make it bold, italic or undeline it doesn't work. works if you highlight all the text.

I definitely see this on windows build for today 2000040610. There is a specific way to recreate this. It works if part of the text is highlighted from the left hand side and not if it highlighted from the right hand side.

is windows the only platform this happens on? please give me an exact test case; i still cant get this to happen.
ok, i see this now. the key is that it only fails if you start the selection by dragging from beyond the end of the line.
