On the Select Components dialog in the installer it says: "Total download size" but I've already downloaded the whole Mozilla.... Shoudn't it be "Total install size" ?
Actually it should be: "Total Install Size:" All other text is with capital starting letters.
Summary: "Total download size" should be "Total install size" → "Total download size" should be "Total Install Size"
Since this has been pushed to "Future" couldn't you just, as a quick fix, at least fix the capitalization so it reads: "Total Download Size"
applied Henrik's patch that does the quick fix. Still leaving bug open.

If the .xpi files are stored locally the text should be "Total Install Size" if the installer has to download them the text should be "Total Download Size"

Actually, need both somehow, person may care how big the program is to install on they're hard-disk, how does the internal check work to determine if the person has enough hard disk space before proceding to install. If it's using the XPI file sizes as a check against hard disk space free, then that would be a false check and lead to an installation that could abort due to running out of hard disk space. I don't know actually what the solution is, atleast with the size bug 81866 fixed the right size of the actual XPI files is displayed now. What did the stub installer for 4.x do? It's been so long since I have seen or used it I can't remember. Whats the right direction to take on this bug? Anyone?
If the .xpi files are stored locally the text should be "Total Install Size". If the installer has to download them the text should be "Total Download Size" marking it as a enhancement...
