Details
Dear Marcia and David,
I was messing around with Firefox today and decided to file a bug: my
first, and so I naturally looked to the website to find out how.
Unfortunately two of the pages I encountered were outdated, and your
names are on them, so here we are. I'm not sure if David is still
actively maintaining the site; if not please direct me to whoever is
appropriate.
Both of these pages have links to the "current" or "latest" nightly
build, and between the two they managed to confuse me for some hours,
since neither has been changed to reflect the departure of SeaMonkey
from Mozilla.
In http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/unconfirmed.html (Marcia, your
name is on the parent of this one), "current nightly build" points to
"//ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest/", which is
Mozilla, and none of it looks in the least nightly.
In http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/bugs (David, your name is on
this one), "latest nightly build" points to
"http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/",
which is Minefield. The next three links are for Mozilla again, and
the one for "Mac OS X" is dead broken.
Now I'm not sure exactly what you want people to be using to test
random bugs, but my guess is Bon Echo, which neither of the pages
links to, and which I didn't discover existed until after reading
Marcia's August 9 post on Mozilla Quality, leading me finally to
"//ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla1.8".
Now I have Bon Echo and Minefield, but my bug persists in both, so I
still get to file it if I ever figure out how to use Bugzilla.
Anyway, thanks for your time. I hope these pages get changed, because
you want up-to-date testers, right?

The bug for updating that page is bug 327750.
I've got a patch there, waiting for review.

Sorry, I forgot to mention one glitch on that page which I may as well: the link to "Bugzilla preferences" should have href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=permissions", not href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi?bank=permissions".
Thanks.
