User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6 If I have multiple instances of Firefox running, and select File > Exit, all instances are closed. Whereas if I selected the "X" in the top right corner, only the local instance is closed. Make them consistent. File > Exit should act like the "X" in the top right. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Instance of Firefox 2. Use Control+N, or Launch from Shortcut a new instance 3. Go to File > Exit, both instances will be closed. Actual Results: All instances of firefox.exe are closed. Expected Results: Only the local instance of firefox should have closed
This is as expected. If you want to close the window then you should use File > Close Window.
