So, the fact that starting in safe mode works OK implicates one of the extensions of themes you're using for the crash. Could you disable your extensions and themes one by one until you stop crashing?

Also, could you get a Talkback ID for the crash? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback

Just to be clear: if it's crashing it is our bug, we're not trying to foist off responsibility. But it would really, really help us fix it if we can reproduce it and for that we need to figure out which extension or theme is triggering the buggy code.

I'm unclear about the original step 6 though. Is it now no longer crashing, at all? Multiple crashes, and then one safe-mode run clears the issue forever?

If so it seems a little odd. And if you're no longer crashing we're not going to get a talkback report out of it and this bug will likely go nowhere :-(

All extensions were removed,(didn't help) Firefox had to be deleted and reloaded

From comment 5, nothing in Firefox was broken or fixed. There was no code change, just a local installation / extension problem.
