The Bugzilla Guide needs to be split into an Admin Guide, for administrators, and a more user-friendly and directly-linkable-into Users Guide, which can support the direct online help. The former needs only to be available to admins; the latter should be available over HTTP by default in an installation of Bugzilla. This is not such a big job; it's more admin than content-writing. The relevant content is already pretty well segregated inside the existing Guide. Gerv [This came up on the mailing list a while back; I'm only now getting around to filing the bug.]

Okay, go ahead! I'm not sure exactly how useful it will be, since they really are already split up (into separate chapters), and I'm not sure we want to duplicate certain things, but it might be a good idea.

I don't think we should break the doc into pieces. We reorganized it quite a bit in the last 2 years, and we now have a "Help" link in the header of all pages pointing to the appropriate section of the documentation, both for admin pages and "common" pages (those used by powerless users). I'm closing this bug as WONTFIX. I will let Colin (the doc module owner) reopen this bug if he disagrees.
