I can't delete all occurences of an repeated event all at once. In delete selected, there should be the question if only this one or all, like in edit. Also, see http://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=2431 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060821 Calendar/0.3a2+
How do you delete? via delete key on keyboard --> should work via toolbar, menu or context menu --> Bug 332266
(In reply to comment #1) > How do you delete? > via delete key on keyboard --> should work Doesn't always. --> this bug > via toolbar, menu or context menu --> Bug 332266 Yeah that works for "delete this occurence". Ah, but I think both should say "delete" and ask you what you want to delete.
It is a known problem (332266) that button and menu choices to delete a selected repeated event will delete only the selected occurrence without bringing up a dialog. So this bug does not need repetition here. In contrast, Delete Key on keyboard brings up a dialog window allowing choice to edit selected or all repeated events. This works for me on Mac OSX Calendar/0.3a2+ nightly build of Aug. 31, 2006. If it doesn't work for you, please specify under which circumstances it fails.
Thunderbird/Calendar build 2007030905) OSX and XP This seems to only occur on network based files. If it is a local copy it seems to delete just fine. If you delete a network based repeat occurrence it will disappear on screen. The published version isn't getting pushed to server file (Even if you manually publish). When the calendar is reloaded or refreshed the event will still be there.
Just a comment to my comment. If you delete the email message in the calendar folder (via subscribed thunderbird) then delete the event and publish the item is gone. Seems to be that the email message needs to be deleted with the event at the same time.
Johannes, could you retest your issue with a current Sunbird 0.7pre nightly build?

This has been implemented.
