both Branch and Trunk. like the search engines manager which is closed automatically after clicking "Get more search engines".
I agree, I find it annoying when it gets sent to the back of the window.
I am leaning towards agreeing with the suggested behavior... how about loading the home page from the extension / theme context menu? Also, we currently close the about dialog when clicking the home page link but I think that it might not be inappropriate to also close the add-ons mgr for that case. The one thing I want to avoid is having the behavior be confusing. Personally, I think that with text-link links that doing this is fine and wouldn't be confusing not to do this for items in the context menu (e.g. visit home page). In the case of the about dialog I am leaning toward leaving the behavior as is. bueller? oops, I mean beltzner?
Robert, why was UIWANTED removed ? definition UIWANTED: For bugs that require UI design support, either for a requested feature enhancement, some new function which needs some UI, OR A FIX TO EXISTING UI. Isn't the last part what this bug is about ?
Peter, because I don't need ui design support to fix this bug... the ui aspect is a no brainer. If beltzner doesn't reply to my query to him in comment #2 I'll talk with him directly to go over the details to make sure we are on the same page. If you were asking for ui design support because you were planning on fixing this bug then please take the bug, re-add the uiwanted if you need it, and when you have a patch ask me to review it.

These no longer exist in the new UI
