Attempting to print the first two pages of the URL given above in a Minefield from about 2006-06-07 hangs the app (100% CPU usage).
This may be related to the fact that, despite me having selected Portrait in the print setup dialog, the Print Preview is always landscape.
I am using Ubuntu Linux 6.06.

Regression range: 2006-06-05-04 -- 2006-06-06-04 Minefield Linux (SUSE 10.0)

No layout/print specific changes AFAICT, maybe that big cairo update (bug 340452)?

My versions of Firefox (1.5.0.5 on Sparc Solaris 8 and 2.0 Italian version on Win2K) hang also on this URL:
http://spacestamps.amhosting.com/stamps/search-result.php?Terms1=gagarin&Incorexc2=LIKE&Terms2=&Incorexc3=LIKE&Terms3=
whithout particular settings for the printer.

I'm still seeing this.
vlad: this seems like it could be a cairo landing regression. Is anyone responsible for printing at the moment? How can we help you track this down?

Is this the same as bug 323652 ? Or perhaps the bug where the print prefs get screwed up and you end up trying to print to a page that's 100x normal size...

Vlad: the URL above doesn't crash a current Minefield (20070529), but doing a Print Preview does lead to an extremely large page area (100x normal size?). As does the URL in bug 323652. And, in fact, doing a Print Preview on this page here. So yes, maybe I have some screwed-up print prefs?

Gerv, does the large page area appear with any print (preview) operation, or just particular pages? The issue I'm aware of is described in bug 381848 comment 3, and it should affect any attempt to print, not specific URLs.
Could you extract the prefs that start out with "print." from your profile and attach them to this bug? Or maybe to bug 381848, since it's not clear that this bug is about the paper size issue.

I've attached my print prefs to the other bug. Print preview worked, but attempting to print a small directory listing from file:/// crashed Minefield (20070529); Talkback ID TB33093204X.
Let me know if I can help further.

For your information, I can print the last report from my gmail.com account with a 14 hours-old homemade trunk build under Ubuntu Linux 7.04 AMD64.
