first a code:

this is a tag for uploading files from disk, most typical. and when i click on "Browse..." button, Mozilla Firefox freezes. I have it on every sites (for egzmpl www.fotosik.pl, attaching attachments in gmail interface...)

I tried even on new profile, and result is the same. I was waiting 2 minutes and i had to kill process

I use Firefox on Mandriva Linux 2006 with KDE

WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20060601 Firefox/2.0.0.4 (Ubuntu-edgy).  I successfully added an attachment in gmail.

Reporter, can you confirm whether this still happens for you with the latest version of Firefox?

Sorry, that wasn't with an official build.  

WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/2007051502 Firefox/2.0.0.4.  I was able to add an attachment in gmail.
