Need CVS / SVN access because I am working with Mike Shaver on Remora. I believe I do not need do go under heavy review for this access. I need access quickly. Please contact [e-mail] with questions.

Your guidelines (http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/getting-cvs-write-access.html) mentioned that I will need to "include" an ssh key for cvs and another for webmonkey. I don't see any attachment inputs on this form. I will include them below:

Mark: justdave and other server ops have had trouble with wrapped keys in the past.  Please follow his instructions:

This key is word-wrapped.  I've had very bad luck trying to unwrap keys in the    past, something inevitably gets lost in the translation.  Can you attach your actual id_rsa.pub or id_dsa.pub file instead of copy/pasting it into a text file first?  Manually override the mime type to be text/plain on the upload.

Jeremy: I used puttygen on windows xp to create the key and it adds in those linebreaks automatically when I save the key file. 

Do you know of some other program I can use that will give you the key in the format you want?

If you use a program on mac, I've got one of those here as well, so just let me know what works for you.

Been a while since I did this in putty.  IIRC, last time I did this in putty it was just copy and paste and it came out in one line.  (bugzilla adds line breaks, so try pasting into a local text editor, saving, and uploading)  Putty allows you to save in a bunch of formats including openssh, but I don't remember if that was public, private or both.

Yes this is very easy on OS X.  Just run the following in a terminal (you can open terminal by doing a spotlight search for terminal, the app will be the first result):
ssh-keygen -f path/to/opensshprivatekey -y > path/to/sshpublickey
and upload the sshpublickey file as an attachment.  manually override the mime type in the upload form so it is 'text/plain'.

I found the corresponding documentation for puttygen, but it doesn't go into much detail.  It does imply that the field you copy from should have no line breaks.

Jeremy is confused here.  Your first one is fine.  SECSH format is supposed to be wordwrapped, just the openssh ones aren't.  Our account setup stuff takes either format.

Jeremy said that the first one wasn't fine. Then another member of the remora team suggested that I use the non-line-breaked key I had set up with him to get ssh access to linux8. That is the second one I uploaded here. 

I don't care which one you use.
