Hello, I work under thunderbird last version (1.5.0.7) in professional Windows XP Version 2002 fixpack 2 (5.1.2600). The problem occurred already in fixpack 1. The problem also occurs with new profiles. It also occurs in safemode. The problem occurs on similar machines if the mail in question is transferred using a file eml. Thunderbird cycles and freezes at the time of a forward of certain mail containing an attached document. Thunderbird freezes  and cycles before I did not have the occasion to indicate the address mail where I wish "forward" my mail containing the attached document. When thunderbird starts to cycle, it does not stop any more, I must destroy the process. The problem arises only when I have the Composition option - General – Forward messages: "inlines". If I put the Composition option - General – Forward messages: "As Attachment", then the problem does not arise any more. It is extremely probable that this problem did not arise in the old versions of thunderbird (versions from 1 to 2 years).

Je travaille sous thunderbird dernière version (1.5.0.7) en windows XP professionnel Version 2002 fixpack 2 (5.1.2600). Le problème se produisait déjà en fixpack 1. Le problème se produit aussi avec un nouveau profile. Il se produit aussi en safemode. Le problème se produit sur des machines semblables si le mail en question est transféré à l'aide d'un fichier eml.  
Thunderbird cycle et gèle lors d'un forward de certain mail contenant un document attaché. Thunderbird géle et cycle avant que je n'ai eu l'occasion d'indiquer l'adresse mail où je souhaite "forwarder" mon mail contenant le document attaché. Quand thunderbird commence à cycler, il ne s'arrête plus, je dois détruire le process.  
Le problème se pose uniquement lorsque j'ai l'option Rédaction - général – Transférer les messages : « intégrés ». Si je mets l'option Rédaction - général – Transférer les messages : "en pièces jointes", alors le problème ne se pose plus. 
Il est fort probable que ce problème ne se posait pas dans les anciennes versions de thunderbird (versions de 1 à 2 ans).

The bug does not occur any more if “Enable spell as you time” is desabled.

Thunderbird has to cycle during one hour (almost 100% CPU), then I destroyed the process.

Rephrasing: Thunderbird becomes unresponsive when forwarding a message "inline" with an attachment, before anything else (recipient, body, etc.) can be filled into the message window.  The problem doesn't happen with the account is set to forward as an attachment.

Do you still have the same problem in Thunderbird 2.x?
