copy-and-paste of mutliple images from the finder/explorer into the compose window editor are doesn't work (but dnd does!)

steps to reproduce:

1) from the finder (mac) or explorer (windows) select 3 images
2) if you dnd the images into the compose window editor area, it will do the right thing.
3) if you copy the messages (command / ctrl c) and attempt to paste it will not succeed.

on windows, only the first image will be pasted. on mac, nothing will be pasted.

It is like once you paste one picture to thunderbird it longer looks at the clipboard to get the latest copy to paste again. It is stuck on the last copy you pasted and will only paste that same original picture in thunderbird only. To paste a new picture I have to exit thunderbird completely. I am using windows xp and office 2003.

Seeing this the same with TB2.0.0.11 on XP.
For comparison MS word pastes both images OK in this situation, so its not impossible...
