After I restarted Camino for every adjustments to take effect, the "block web ads" still did not work on alot of sites

Ad-blocking is an continual, gradual process.  We don't block all ads, and we never will.

That said, on the page you mentioned, the only "non-content ad" is blocked with the latest ad-blocking.

Matt, can you try a recent 1.8branch or trunk nightly just to confirm that our latest ad-blocking updates do indeed block the ads?
