Firefox was automatically updated and when I reopened it all my bookmarks were gone.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Andrew, could you let us know if you rebooted your PC between the firefox update being downloaded, and the firefox update being applied? Thanks!

My PC was rebooted in between.
