Version: unspecified → 1.5.0.x Branch
Debian Etch (stable) with a few Lenny (testing) packages. At first, Java 5: 1.5.0_10 from Etch, then Java 6: 1.6.0-b105 from Lenny. It crashes my Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007070905 Minefield/3.0a7pre on with both Java versions. With Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:220.127.116.11) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/18.104.22.168 and Java 6, the described error happens; with Java 5, it's loading infinitely and may hang Firefox. In Konqueror 3.5.5, the applet says "loading …", but is only loading the CPU.
(In reply to comment #3) > In Konqueror 3.5.5, the applet says "loading …", but is only loading the CPU. Sorry, wrong - it works in Konqueror; Minefield's crashreporter has been eating the CPU, not letting the applet load.
The error message is within the Java applet itself, it says "LP Core Error: Invalid Image URL ..." Firefox 3.0.2pre with Sun Java Plug-in 1.6.0_06 on Linux. Loading the next image (click the right arrow image) works fine, URL is: http://mv.vatican.va/3_EN/pages/x-Pano/CSN/Visit_CSN_02.html and next again also works: http://mv.vatican.va/3_EN/pages/x-Pano/CSN/Visit_CSN_03.html Testing with Opera 9.51 I get similar results, 1st image does not load (no error message but the throbber spins forever, waiting for something that never appears to load), 2nd and 3rd image works fine. -> INVALID
