Sorry for the rant & rave; I have spent hours trying to fix this, but couldn't get anywhere at all. Thanks, Ken

Thunderbird doesn't have a cookie manager? I can't find one anyway :) Comment 0 indicates you're using a trunk development build of Firefox, aptly named "Minefield", and a two week old one at that -- these are expected to break occasionally. If you want stability, get the latest release build (1.5.0.6 as of now) from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

I called it " COOKIE MANAGER ", Thunderbird 3.0a1 has it as: "Thunderbird: Preferences: Privacy: Security: View Certificates: Certificate Manager: Authorties: certificate authorities: Certificate Name, Security Device: Builtin Object Token " . Best Regards, Ken

That's no cookie manager, it's called the Certificate manager -- updating summary. And no, I could not reproduce on latest trunk (linux).
Summary: COOKIE MANAGER CANNOT BE CHANGED → Certificate manager problem
Version: unspecified → Trunk
