Currently tree column picker allows to show/hide only one column at one time - this means that when the tree contains many columns that need to be hidden/shown user will have to click picker many times, checking/unchecking every single column. I propose to change picker behaviour in order to allow multiple-choice.

There are two options, either we will replace current implementation or we can add tree's new attribute e.g. columnpickermultiple=true|false - when true multiple-choice will be allowed.

I don't think anyone is going to work on this given the plan to remove the XUL "tree" widget (bug 1446335).
