looping and non-looping animated gifs in hidden layers don't start at frame 1 if the hidden layer is made visible by for example a mouse over command.
the animated gif seems to run the whole time or only once, not starting at frame 1 if made visible. it should reload/be played from the beginning, everytime it's shown.
Reproducible: Always
Expected Results:
start the gif at frame one every time it's shown anew.

Nothing to do with build config, punting to General for the moment.
Component: Build Config → General
QA Contact: build.config → general

Could you provide a simplified testcase for this issue? This can be done by creating a page with only the necessary code needed to reproduce the bug in question.
Also, please download and use a nightly testing build to ensure this problem still exists in the trunk builds: http://www.mozilla.org/developer
Thanks!

URL doesn't exist. Firefox 1.5 no longer supported, no testcase or response to comment 2. --> INCOMPLETE.
Reporter, if you still see this problem then please reopen this bug. Thanks!
