In bug 351874, I moved nsAboutRedirector into docshell. That means I couldn't use the NECKO_PROTOCOL_about ifdef for it anymore, which means that minimo now builds that file, even though it didn't use to (afaik). perhaps it shouldn't.
probably fine.   moving to future.

Minimo should definitely support about:blank. Is nsAboutRedirector different than that?
It is different, yes. It's for things like about:about, about:logo, about:mozilla, etc. http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/docshell/base/nsAboutRedirector.cpp#67 has the complete list.
