i have install the last update, break down, firefox download automatic a greater file from your site 3.5MB and install this, its like ok, but make not a contact to internet or with my apache2

Almost certainly this will be a firewall issue:

In particular, ZoneAlarm which has been disabled (or even "uninstalled") will cause problems.
