Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6

Every time I have allowed the newest 1.5.07 update; firefox loses internet connectivity. Restored by reinstalling 1.5.06. I have even disabled my firewall and also 'allowed' firefox in the firewall, and this does not make any difference. Until I know what to do, I am not going to install the latest update (after at least three times).

Please advise,
Thank you,
Daniel

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.allow update
2.lose connectivity when firefox reopens
3.connectivity restored after reinstalling 1.5.06

Actual Results:
see above. it has happened at least three times now.

I have tried disabling and also using 'allow' with my EZ Armor Firewall and this has not made any difference. Fortunately I had saved the previous version and when I rinstall it, I regain internet connectivity.
It will be your firewall:

For support, please go to http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38 or irc.mozilla.org #firefox.

When you are 'disabling' your firewall, you are probably only disabling the UI portion of it; the firewall proper will be running as a service.
