Can you get a Talkback ID for the crash? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback
Severity: normal → critical

I've tryed to run Firefox 1.5.0.7 (from official site) from another user with default config, and it's also crashed:
eugene@horde:~$ /usr/local/firefox/firefox
The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 120 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

this error occured when Firefox uses flash plugin. (Even flash is disabled with flashblock) Seems previos versions of firefox are not affected. (1.5.0.6 on another PC works well)
QFA window doesn't appear after crash. (I use russian firefox from official site)

OK. This is probably a dupe of bug 304370. Can you attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf to the bug so I can see if you're using composite and 16-bit color depth?
