Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060923 Minefield/3.0a1
If you try to open any non-Firefox readable document (PDF, .doc) with firefox via the open with dialog, the unselected dropdown menu will show something other than Word, even if you have selected word via the finder window that comes up when you click choose. If you click on the dropdown menu, the one entry in the menu is the correct application, but it is not what is shown when the menu is not clicked on. In addition, the Choose Application option goes away after an application is selected or if a MIME type default exists.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to website with a link to a document of a format that must be handled by an external application
2. Click on the link and the Open With dialog will open
Actual Results:
Open With shows improper application and does not offer ability to choose new application when one is selected
Expected Results:
Dropdown shows correct application and allows changes after application is selected
This is a clean build with no extensions nor non-default themes

The inability to select file type actions on MacOS X is really frustrating. As Preferences -> Contents -> File Types -> Edit also doesn't let you add actions (only edit and delete), shouldn't this be set to blocking?
