User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7
Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 1.5.0.7 (20060909)
When cutting text and moving text within the Message Compose window with the mouse, it is impossible to insert it where the cursor is, when the cursor is at the beginning of an empty line. The text is always inserted one line below the flashing cursor.
Example: You have one text block, then three empty lines, then another text block, another empty line and a third text block. Select the third text block and move it up. Let the cursor flash on the second of the three empty lines between the first two text blocks. When releasing the mouse button the third block of text should be pasted on line two, leavin on empty line above the text block and one below of it. But it doesn't get pasted where the cursor is flashing (on line 2), it gets pasted on line three!

Reporter, does this still occur with the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?
(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.17)
