When opening the provided url mozilla shows the page apparently fully rendered but the spinner never stops, the cpu fan becomes noisy and after few seconds mozilla stops responding

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open http://www.winetaste.it/
2.wait ten seconds

Actual Results:  
mozilla is sluggish and after a little hangs


Expected Results:  
normal browser behavior

It is eating all memory within a few seconds.
I see this in all builds and versions.

It puts a huge strain on the CPU for me too.

Now there is no hang but everything is slow, probably it's a performance issue.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
