I am looking for permission to use the Firefox and Thunderbird logos (and indeed any other logos of apps that are trademarked by yourselves) on my website. The context is that I create extensions for these apps and when listing the extension I wish to display which version of which app the extension is valid for. As an example see the page here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/220/ In the middle is a list of apps and versions. Though I think what I'm going for is a bit more compact, just the icon with version numbers side by side, with the app name as a tooltip in the icon. As the site is in development I don't have a concrete example page as yet, but if you require one to make a determination then that can be arranged.
The website is now nearing completion. This is a URL demonstrating what I want to do. Though its awaiting some cleanups the actual use of the icons should be just what is there.
If you are just using the logo denotatively in this way, this is fine. Please don't use it in a way which implies our endorsement. :-) (Even though the Nightly Tester Tools currently rock my personal world, as they let me use my essential extensions with recent builds.) Gerv
