Seen using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060918 Firefox/2.0

STR:

1. Customize the Tbird toolbar by dragging the folder widget to your toolbar.
2. Observe the attached screenshot. In this screenshot the content fits the width, but in my mailbox some of my folder names are a bit longer.

Perhaps we should increase the width of the box slightly to accommodate the fact that folks may have longer folder names.

Jay can you offer any Mac feedback?  iirc windows didn't have this problem, but  folder widget is broken on current trunk as of using beta 1 or there abouts, so can't check.

I do not regularly use the Folder Drop Down box on my toolbar, but I added it on my main Profile that I use daily, a brand new profile, and a profile that I use to read GMail over IMAP very rarely. The following results were the same for all three Profiles.

The Folder Drop Down box seems completely broken on the Mac in the above 3.0b3 nightly. I do not get ANY folders listed at all in the drop down. Tried restarting and multiple profiles and never would a folder show up. Was always blank and couldn't actually "drop down" as there were no folders.

Different bug that needs to be filed if there isn't one already. I would open one, but I evidently do such a very poor job of searching for existing bugs (90% of my bugs get marked as DUPLICATE, so I no longer submit) I will await someone to tell me to open it.

The widget gives the folder enough place to show. It can happen when the window is small or a lot of buttons are placed the widget will be smaller and the folder name could be abbreviated. But I think this bug can be closed as I see no issue.
