image from html <img> tag is lost when sending reply only for signature above the quote

It works fine if I use the signature below the quote. It also works fine for new messages and forwards since they both contain the signature last. It also works when I use the signature below the quote then copy and paste it above the quote. Also if I go the the sent folder to "edit as new" the email I sent that the image disappeared for, the image reapears for that edit but does not display after it is sent. If I use the alt="some text" parameter in the <img> tag that text is displayed in the image's place. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create an html signature file that contains an <img> tag that pionts to an img file. 2.Use that signature file to reply to an email with the option to have the signature above the quote. 3.Making sure the image is where it is supose to be, send the email to another id you may have or to someone else. Make sure you save a copy when sending. 4.Review the sent copy in your sent folder for the image that was in the email you replied to to see the image is no longer there. Actual Results: image is missing in signature Expected Results: signature should maintain the image none

Bug still present in TB version 1.5.0.10, March 28, 2007. I have noted commentary dated Sept. 2006 that bug will be repaired in ver. 2.
