Here's a fun little "Gosh, that's strange" bug... Open History. Collapse all folders except the one labeled "Tuesday, 26 September" (two days ago). Quit Camino. You can re-launch it, but don't use History again for at least 48 hours. Open History. Say, "Huh, that's weird" when you realise the folder that is now expanded is the one with *today's* date (Thursday, 28 September) on it, not the one labeled "Tuesday, 26 September". The problem stems from the fact that we use relative dates in the History manager. The use of "Today", "Yesterday", and "More than a week ago" as folder titles hints at this, but the fact that we label folders for history items from two through six days ago with the date makes this confusing. I'm not sure what the best way to solve the problem is, although "expect users not to get confused" is certainly an option. :)
Can't the code that persists the currently-open folder (when hiding the view) just save the exact date (instead of the relative "date", if it does that now).
Either that or you're looking at it wrong ;) I always want "today" expanded and don't really care about "two-days-ago's today" being expanded consistently.
Yeah, didn't this get changed recently so that "Today" was opened by default?
