Mousing over any URL no longer displays the link destination in the Status bar - it just shows 'Done' or if it's loading a page it will show the proper Loading and associated bar and URL. Tried restarting firefox and problem still occurs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Updated from last beta of Firefox 2.0 to RC1 via automatic update. 2. Killed firefox.exe process and reopened with restoring tabs (approximately 15 tabs) Actual Results: Works normally except for status bar problem. Expected Results: Display URL destinations in the stauts bar. Using default theme (the new updated one for RC1).
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060928 BonEcho/2.0 "Any URL" - not any URL here. When I make a new profile and hover over links in the start page every URL is displayed in the status bar. The same happens when I hover over bookmarks in the menu. Bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar and its sub folders however are not displayed in the status bar on mouseover. I assume this is a well-known bug.
reporter do you still see the problem with current version? toolbar folder -> statusbar is bug 213163
