354827 - Caret cuts off bit of character in search field

I just built current trunk bits (2006-09-29) and in the search textfield, the caret is clipping part of the adjacent character to the left.

I wrote "fo" in the search bar, and this is how it looks between the blinks of the caret.

I should add that I'm running OS X 10.4.7, cocoa-trunk. (Not cairo, afaik.)

This isn't really a Firefox: Search bug, seems much more likely to be a widget (cocoa) or gfx bug.

We've been seeing this in SeaMonkey too for quite some time.  Is this a current regression for you?

I don't know, I just noticed it now.

BTW, isn't this more likely to be a view/layout bug than widget?
