Please try a recent nightly build available at http://www.mozilla.org/developer and see if you can reproduce this problem then. I'm resolving as WORKSFORME based upon previous comments. Please reopen this bug if this still happens after updating. Thank you.

This validator doesn't support jsp file I suppose. It opens successfully in Internet explorer. I couldn't open the same with Netscape7.2 also

This works for me, too. Maybe there's something weird going on with caching? Antony, can you reproduce this after you clear your cache?

Today, I installed Firefox 2.0, In this also it is not working, Please verify it. I am browsing behind a proxy.
Comment 13•19 years ago

Thsi is most likely a problem with the proxy you are requesting the page through, especially since it happens with different browsers. Why it works in IE, I don't know, but it doesn't seem to be a Firefox bug (maybe Gecko?).
Do you have any friends, co-workers, etc. behind the same proxy you can ask to test this too?

Behind my proxy, nobody could access this page in Firefox. But we are able to open the same page in Internet Explorer. But without proxy, I am able to see the page in browsing centers. I think This is the bug, and requires immediate attention.

What you just described was your proxy server blocking the traffic coming from Firefox, but not from Internet Explorer.
Anyone know how the transmission and recieving of http with FF differs from that if MSIE?
