command + a in "add to address book" sheet (from mail 3 pane) selects all message in thread pane, and not all text in focused text box

steps to reproduce:

1)  launch tbird on mac os x.  I'm using version 2 beta 1 (20061005)
2)  view a message, and context click on an address in message page header area and choose "Add to Address Book..."
3)  click in one of the text fields with text, like email
4)  do "command a" to select all text

expected results:  all text selected in the text box

actual results:  all threads in thread pane are selected

note, I just ran into this with the new account wizard and the 3 pane:

doing command + a when the "Account Name" text box in the "new account" sheet selects all the messages in the thread pane.

could this be a sheet / mac os x / toolkit issue?
