User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060918 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20060918 Firefox/2.0 One of my friends recently download Firefox 2.0 RC 1 from the Mozilla website. The browser had a bug which I have never experienced before on the same version on the same platform: A large, about 1-inch tall gray bar exists at the bottom of the screen, right above the status bar. Hiding and reshowing the status bar didn't help. Relaunching didn't help. I couldn't find it in the chrome. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: I do know that there are some mirrors that have the gray bar and some that don't. I can't tell you which ones; I haven't logged them. Actual Results: About 10% of the Firefox installers produced the gray bar after launching the newly-installed Firefox. Expected Results: It should have not displayed a gray bar. No themes or extensions (other than the default DOM and Talkback) were installed: this was a fresh installation of Firefox 2.0 RC 1.
