User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061006 Minefield/3.0a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061006 Minefield/3.0a1 Since installing the latest Firefox for Macs a few days ago, I am constantly perseted by popups (or popdowns) complaining that sites can't be verified. Esepcially when logging into my ISP iinet.net.au, these occur every few seconds. None of the buttons produce any difference or change anything, and no setting of Preferences stops this behaviour. Contacted iinet.net.au, who say that no certificate is required by them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tried View Certificate, Cancel, OK 2. Adjusted Preferences 3. Downloaded Minefied from Latest Builds - even worse! Actual Results: Nothing stops these (though none have appeared while tying this (in Minefield) Expected Results: Stop popdowns or reduce to proper usage I can send screenshots of examples if you send me an email address iMac with OS 10.4.8 (latest upgrade)
Reporter, are talking about the "domain name mismatch" error that occurs on <https://iinet.net.au/> ? That's because they have a certificate for *.iinet.net.au, but that doesn't match iinet.net.au. It works on <https://www.iinet.net.au/> though. Can you use that workaround ? Screenshots can be attached in bugzilla
-> works for me on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a6pre) Gecko/20070624 Minefield/3.0a6pre ID:2007062405 Also missing feedback - steps to reproduce, see comment #1
