installer location problem with Vista

Details
1) I downloaded the latest vista-fied Firefox installer from Rob Strong.
2) Install Firefox. If I choose a custom install, I see a dialog which shows that it is installing into c:\Program Files\Bon Echo.
3) Now I try to install Thunderbird using a vista-fied Thunderbird installer I've put together. If I choose custom install, I do *not* see a dialog which shows me the location to install into. For both custom and standard installs, my installer always installs into the Bon Echo installation directory.
If I install Thunderbird without ever installing Firefox, it installs correctly and custom installs show c:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird.

This was done this way to get some of the patches onto the trunk and I am fixing this as part of the work I am doing and have this fixed locally already.

Rob, so something in the vista test installer is interfering with the Thunderbird installer?
