every time Firefox updates i lose all my bookmarks. please can you tell me how to back up my bookmarks so this dose not happen in future.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.after an update i activate Firefox only to find all my Bookmarks are gone
2.stamp feet and shout at the computer
3.cry a lot as i know i will be spending the next hour trying to get all my bookmarks back

Actual Results:  
activate Firefox.
get mad when i see all my bookmarks have gone.

Expected Results:  
would like a FAQ on how to back up bookmarks so i can re=load my bookmarks from backup.

made me a cup of tea and a bacon sandwhich.

Easiest is to make a regular copy of the profile folder Mozilla in Application Data. That includes everything, also your prefs, extensions, cookies etc.
