On return from a 10 day vacation two days ago, I accepted the daily prompt to download the latest Trunk Nightly.  Since then (with at least one new nightly downloaded since then), when Mailwasher calls Thunderbird, a new instance of Thunderbird is launched.  I have not changed anything in Mailwasher so I can only think that this is caused by some change in the Thunderbird 3 Alpha sometime in the last two weeks.
