"Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." I restarted my system thrice and also, the process doesn't appear in the Task Manager. I installed the application again, but to no avail. Pls advise. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.I just start the app by clicking on the icon. 2. 3.

This error message should be fixed and report exactly what is wrong, instead of the ambiguous/erroneous "another instance is running." Linking to the knowledgebase entry from the dialog would be helpful as well. A generic mechanism of feeding the dialog text or corresponding ERRNO to kb.mozillazine or some such could avoid duplicate bug filings, and save users time/effort as well.
