Launch XM Radio player using Windows Vista RC2 and Firefox prompts me to install a Media Player plugin. Windows Media Player 11 for Vista is installed but is not recognized by Firefox. Using IE XM Radio launches without a problem and plays flawlessly.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to XMRADIO.COM and request the free 3 day trial.
2.Launch player by clicking on "Listen Now"
3.Pick any station to listen
Actual Results:
Player does not play music
Expected Results:
Music is played
The same thing happens with Windows Media Edition Ver 5.1. XM Radio plays fine on my desktop running XP Pro.
Popup says "Additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page. There is an Install Missing Plugins button which comes back with No suitable plugins were found. Unknown Plugin (application/x-mplayer2) and give the option to Manual Install - This button takes you to Microsoft.

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Windows_Media_Player#Installing_the_new_plugin fix this problem for you ?
Tomcat - This appears to have fixed the problem. Nice job. Thank you.
