User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5.0.7 (Windows/20060909) I normally have my IMAP folders sorted ascending by subject, unread messages only. When I press mark all messages as read, the message list sorting changes to ascending by date. This behavior does not occur if the View is set to all messages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Switch to a folder not sorted ascending by date and with the View set to Unread. 2. Press Ctrl-Shift-C or otherwise mark all read. 3. Observe the message list sort changes to ascending by date. Actual Results: The resultant behavior was as described in the Details section. Expected Results: The sorting should not change if I mark all messages read.
Darren, do you still see this using version 2?

The same behavior is observed with Thunderbird started with safe mode (no extensions).
