Seamonkey & Thunderbird: I've hard time in long usenet discussions to follow interesting thread branches, because I cannot fold sub trees in threads 

compare e.g. Outlook Express: each sub-collection in thread tree can be folded.

(technically the folding of embedded tree items seems possible with mozilla  UI controls as one can see in the mail/news account pane)
