Currently you will see the 'Search' and 'New' link at least 4 times on a show_bug.cgi page. Twice for the header and footer. Just under the header and above the footer there is a 'bug navigation bar'. This allows you to go to the First, Last, Prev and Next bug (within a search). This 'bug navigation bar' again has links to 'Search' and 'New'. This is *very* closeby the existing 'Search' and 'New' links. I think they should go.

yeah, works for me, now that we have the critical navigation stuff at the top as well.
