I have installed several different versions of firefox, including firefox 2. When I try to run the program, a dialogue box pops up and says that the program is non responsive and that I should close the current window (there is no window), end the process from the task manager or restart my computer. I tried ending and restarting and even uninstalling and re-installing but nothing works.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download
2.Install
3.Run
Actual Results:
Dialogue box pops up
Expected Results:
Program shoudl start
Using Avira Anti-Vir Personal Classic
Using ZoneAlarm version:6.5.737.000
TrueVector version:6.5.737.000
Driver version:6.5.737.000

This may have something to do with your firewall/security software. check those applications settings. Perhaps Firefox needs to be allowed by them?

When I try to run it for the first time my firewall pops up and asks for my permission. I give it and it still crashes. Even when I turn the firewall off it still crashes; same for the anti-virus.
