no longer download at all

is there a way to downgrade back to 1.5 for a while?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to site http://realitylapse.com/downloads/videos/gundamseeddestiny/gundamseeddestiny27.rmvb
2. click on the link
3.nothing happens

Actual Results:  
nothing

Expected Results:  
it shouild have offered to save or open like any other file (it did this in 1.5)

Mike, is this still a reproduce able problem from you ? (if so, can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode_(Firefox)

Resolving as WORKSFORME since this works for me. Mike, if you're still able to reproduce, please comment in this bug with details as we as the answer to the "safe mode" question in comment 1.
