Tab does not close.
Your issues are likely caused by an incompatible extension or a corrupt installation due to Firefox not being shutdown at install time (as a result of bug 357922).

Uninstalling Firefox and deleting the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder (all of your bookmarks, settings and extensions will remain intact) and reinstalling should take care of all of these problems. If all else fails, please see http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/#community for support options.

This is the installer bug, note the user agent.

You need to uninstall Firefox, make sure the process isn't running, and then install it again.
