Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Windows XP update automatically the system time to summer or winter time.
2. Open Thunderbird.
3. All the folders with messages (inbox, sent, trash, ...) doesn't show.
4. Later,... too later, the messages are showed.
5. Close Thunderbird.
6. Open Thunderbird.
7. If the folders was big then the problem returns.
   For example the inbox folder. We have to wait the messages show.
   We have to create a auxiliary folder and move all the massages to this                
   folder.
   Close Thunderbird.
   Delete the files inbox and inbox.msf.
   Open Thunderbird.
   Move the messages from auxiliary folder to the inbox folder.
   The problem is solved.





We have 2.000 clients with Mozilla Thunderbird. Two times in the year we have this problem. We have the solution (recreate de  SMF files), but we have 2.000 clients and we can't do it to all of them.

bug 136049 - Daylight savings change invalidates summary files

there should be no need for msf acrobatics though, modulo bug 289369
