If this is gone, then it is really too bad, since it is quite useful when browsing newsgroups as I could create my own view (usually watched threads or unread). If it is not gone, then it is well hidden. Thanks, Manu Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Launch version 2.0a1 Actual Results: gone Expected Results: messages menu entry in View menu
Version: unspecified → 2.0
Although the messages menu entry is gone, I finally found the equivalent combo doing the customize on the toolbar. So I'm glad the feature is not gone, but why removing the menu entry?
Note that if you put the MailView selector in the toolbar, the menu item re-appears. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 350052 ***

That's true, but only after a restart, that's why I did not see it immediately after adding the MailView selector in the toolbar. Note that when you remove the MailView selector, then the Messages menu entry disappear right away. So the bug is that it is not added immediately. But why hiding the menu entry? I would suggest to leave it all the time and have an option to add the MailView selector in the toolbar which seems to be implied by the suggestion made in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356603
