359184 - Messed-up characters on some sites in Minefield

On some sites Minefield displays incorrect (random?) characters instead of the correct ones. 

I'll attach screenshots in a moment.

Some of the affected sites are e.g. two of the biggest portals in Poland:
* http://www.wp.pl/
* http://www.onet.pl/

This only happens with trunk builds, 2.0.x and 1.5.0.x are not affected.

Oops, my testcase is broken in the February build, but looks OK in the newest one (though the problem on the original sites appears in both versions). Gonna investigate later.
